Supported Protocols

The following list covers all the communication protocols currently supported by our gateway. This list is subject to change without notice, as we add new protocols or move protocols into a different category.

Availability

• General Availability protocols are supported out of the box, no additional flags or permissions required.

• Limited Availability protocols are code complete, but with limited access to allow for continued testing before releasing to GA.

• Private Preview protocols are beta releases, functional but with the possibility of additional changes based on user feedback and real world implementation.

Required Ports

BACnet/IP	Default UDP Port 47808 (0xBAC0), but can be in the range of 0xBAC0 - 0xBACF (47808 - 47823). In rare circumstances, can be a randomly assigned port
C-Bus	C-Bus over TCP/IP typically uses TCP Port 10001
KNXnet/IP	UDP 3671
Modbus/TCP (Modbus/IP)	TCP 502
oBIX (Open Building Information Exchange)	HTTP/HTTPS (TCP 80, 443)
Allen-Bradley Ethernet	TCP 44818, UDP 2222
Beckhoff ADS/AMS	TCP 48898

Emerson DeltaV Industrial Ethernet	There is no specific standardized port and will depend on the network configuration
